Born in Switzerland, Markus began his professional journey as a licensed Swiss Attorney-at-Law. In 1996, after earning a Master of Laws degree from the University of San Diego, he made the bold decision to pivot from law to real estate in San Diego.

Recognizing early on how the internet and advances in home office technology were transforming the industry, Markus saw that the traditional “brick-and-mortar” real estate model was becoming less appealing. In response, he founded Pacific Real Estate Center—a brokerage designed to give agents the flexibility, freedom, and higher commission splits they deserve.

Drawing on his legal background, Markus equips his agents with invaluable skills, including:
